6. Low-fat diets
Fat is not the wrong word you are supposed to avoid. Your cell membranes and nerve cells are all surrounded by fat. It is also the macromolecule that has evolved to keep us warm and act as a reserve of energy in case of problems. When you decrease the amount of fat you eat, your body thinks it should start storing energy, so that your brain activates hunger. A well-balanced meal contains enough protein and fat to make you feel full and keep you clean for a few hours.
